About the Photographer:

Buff is a commercial and editorial photographer who shoots lifestyle, food, interiors and kids. She has 20 years of experience shooting for clients across the country on both big and small productions.

Buff was born and raised in Texas and has been taking pictures as long as she can remember. She spent all her free time in high school photographing her friends and in the darkroom. Buff's undergraduate degree drew her to a career in advertising in San Francisco where she was able to work with some amazing photographic talent and continue her photography studies at UC Berkeley. She was inspired to quit her day job after a soul searching road trip and has never looked back.

Buff's passion for photography brought her to New York in 2000. She traveled extensively shooting for clients such as Travel and Leisure, Gourmet, House Beautiful, Body and Soul, Parents, Hyperion, Time Inc. and Coastal Living. Buff is energized creatively by the variety of work she's asked to shoot and capturing moments that are personal and authentic in her subjects. In 2011 Buff, her husband and son George moved their home base to Austin. But she finds herself back in NYC shooting for clients and visiting family and friends as often as possible.
